Learn to Dive

Learn to Dive

Learning to dive with ESAC is an enjoyable and cost effective way to learn to dive without the pressures often associated with learning on shorter courses. We can teach you at your pace and if you need extra time, you have access to the swimming pool  every week to practice along with the clubs instructors team. All instructors have current DBS checks for vulnerable adults and children.

We run regular courses throughout the year for both new and qualified divers with the support of our volunteer assistant and qualified BSAC instructors.

We also offer “referral diver training”, which is where, if you want to dive on an exotic holiday and not spend lots of time training you complete the first part of your training here in the UK and then finish the qualification dives with an accredited BSAC instructor overseas.

Although we’re a BSAC accredited club we really do welcome divers who have trained with other agencies (PADI SSI etc) here in the UK or overseas. Ideally you will need to complete a short refresher “Crossover training program” which puts you at the relevant BSAC grade. Once you have done this training, as a club member you have access to training from our volunteer instructors should you wish to develop your diving further. Information for divers from other agencies
